Influenced by Barcelona’s expressive architecture and Mediterranean light, the Sage office is a vibrant yet carefully balanced contemporary workplace.

The interior combines open, collaborative areas with focused working environments, creating a natural flow between concentration, communication and informal interaction. Clean lines and modern materials are softened by warmer finishes, giving the office an atmosphere that feels fresh, welcoming and full of character.

Carel Woodworks delivered a complete bespoke furniture package designed to respond to the distinctive architectural identity of the project.

The scope included custom workstations, meeting tables, communal furniture, integrated storage, lockers and architectural joinery. Every element was developed in relation to the scale, rhythm and circulation of the interior, ensuring that the furniture supports both the functional and visual needs of the space.

Minimal forms allow the architecture to remain prominent, while carefully considered details bring refinement and individuality to the furniture. Material transitions, edges, proportions and finishes were precisely coordinated to create a consistent language across the different areas of the office.

Large communal tables encourage collaboration and social interaction, while integrated storage keeps the working environment organised and visually calm. Bespoke elements help define each area without closing the space or interrupting the sense of openness.
